Hanna M. Owens is an artist and writer originally from Baltimore, Maryland. Their interdisciplinary projects forge a marriage of the body, language and money, and have been exhibited and published internationally with their short story ‘catch waves not feelings’ recently published in stadtsprachen magazin, Berlin. She owes around $60K in student loan debt and is currently writing jokes about said debt, watching lots of Real Housewives and pursuing publication of her experimental novella-in-flash, A SLOW CONTROLLED JIGGLE, which was shortlisted for DHA Open Week 2021 with David Higham Books, London. Owens lives in Berlin and works as a newborn nanny.
